For one of our clients located in Luxembourg Munsbach, Sofitex Talent is currently looking for an immediate start for a


Financial Officer - Derivatives Instruments Employee (M/F)


Your tasks:


Timely process derivatives transactions, including confirmations, valuation,
monitoring, matching instructions, etc.


• Process cash and securities Collateral transactions


• Use expertise to challenge information received and to provide guidance for correct
processing


• Perform various tasks like i.e. system testing or participation to projects in a timely
and qualitative manner


• Make proof of sense and sound judgment towards risk awareness


• Inform the Section Head of all risks of error and actual errors as soon as detected
and evaluate their impact.

Required profile

• Academic background  in Finance

• Minimum 3  years of experience in Derivative transaction processing

• Good understanding of the fundamentals of a Financial organization and related
supervisory bodies


• Very good understanding of the Derivatives world, definition and specificities of
all different derivatives types and their related operational handling (including
collateral management)


• Fair understanding of the Custody and Fund business principles (Luxembourg and
Cayman Funds)


• Fair understanding of the applicable laws, directives and regulations like EMIR,
Dodd-Frank act and fair understanding of AIFMD and UCITS

• Fluent in English. French is considered as an asset

• Good command of the Microsoft Office package with an advanced knowledge of
Excel being an advantage
• Analytical and problem solving skills


• Client service, quality and risk oriented


• Ability to work under pressure with focus on timely delivery


• Effective oral and written communication skills


• Able to take initiatives in the best interest of the Bank and the team


This is an opportunity for a temp contract or permanent one (depending on your experience) for an international banking institution
