Job description

For one of our a client, a bank located in Kirchberg, we are currently looking for an :

Governance Assistant

Your tasks :

• Follow-up of Governance files;

• Scheduling and coordination meetings, events and other similar activities;

• Handling correspondences and administrative tasks related;

• Coordinating and resolving day-to-day administrative problems & works;

• Performing multifaceted general office support;

• Follow up of department archives;

• Management of the Governance email box.

• Maintenance of corporate files in good order: preparing, filing and organizing the storage of corporate legal documents;

• Preparation of Commissions/Committees and Board Meetings agendas & Minutes;

• Support the Governance & HR Manager and Officer in projects and tasks;

• Assist in Governance Policies/Procedures review;

• Continuously take part in the improvement of operational procedures;

• Implementing new processes;

• Keeping up to date with any regulations or policies that might affect the bank.

Required profile

• Communications skills and problems solving;

• Organizational skills;

• Discretion with confidential information;

• Self-motivation, team player with a high level of integrity and self-discipline;

• Sense of balance under pressured situation;

• Able to work independently;

• Good use of MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat;

• Fluency in English and Portuguese. French is considered as a plus;

• First experience in a similar position is required (at least 6 months);

• Graduation (Bac+2 or equivalent).

The jobholder will report to the Head of HR & Governance on problems originating from the above duties.

This is an opportunity for a 6-month temp contract, with possibility of CDD afterwards.

Salary : 3,800€ gross x13 + lunch vouchers.
